Welcome to Bunyala Agr Climate Impact Solution
The Bunyala Agr Climate Impact Solution is a community-based organization, which is a member of CATALYST 2030 initiative and also member of catalyst 2030 Kenya chapter organization of Five (3) Women’s association was started in 2017,and 2 youth led organization , BUNYALA YOUTH ADVOCATES AND CIVIC EDUCATORS .We advocate Agriculture for Sustainable Development behalf of 140 unemployed and marginalized young people of affiliate youth groups / organisation through help realization of SDGS , and climate smart activities in western kenya
Consequently, climate-smart agriculture has the potential to not only help achieve SDG2, but many of the other SDGs as well, including: SDG1 ‘End poverty in all its forms everywhere’; SDG6 ‘Ensure access to water and sanitation for all’
Our approach
Working in 4 key principles that balance the social, economic and environmental dimensions of sustainability: 1) improving efficiency in the use of resources; 2) conserving, protecting and enhancing natural ecosystems; 3) protecting and improving rural livelihoods and social well-being; 4) enhancing the Principle 4. Enhanced resilience of people, communities and ecosystems is key to sustainable agriculture. Agriculture is a common profession in the world and a base of human life. Not only for humans but it is a pillar for every nation. Most parts of the world have been adversely affected by the negative impacts of climate change, which brings a lot of uncertainty especially in the field of agriculture.
Over the years, this has resulted in reduced crop production, and to an extent is also affecting the livestock sector in the country. . Furthermore, we reduce the impact of climate change in agricultural production by investing in developing climate advocacy to improve the quality of life for rural households and communities in Kenya. Our initiatives strive to achieve improved resilience of smallholder farmers to the impacts of climate change and strengthen marketing system for agriculture production in order to achieve sustainable food security.
